STW(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.

Save the Water(tm) is seeking a Fundraising Project Leader who supports the Fundraising Group by managing a team of volunteers in the area of Corporate Business Development by creating and implementing a development plan for partnership with local and national businesses of all sizes. This group works very closely with the Marketing Group.
You will be responsible for providing direction and support to a group of volunteers, executing a developed plan for Corp Business Development goals. Manage and support the Fundraising Group in order to raise funds for STW, in order to implement our programs and fulfill our mission.
Project Leaders are expected to put in a minimum of 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within three (3) calendar days.
Responsibilities:Manage on average 2-3 volunteers within the Corporate Business Development team, providing direction and support.
Plan and conduct monthly Corporate Business Development team meeting, including sending agenda, taking meeting minutes, and follow up
The Corporate Business Development Project Leader's primary responsibility is to raise money for Save The Water.
Shares development plans with senior leadership and the board of directors.
Also spends time personally soliciting donors. As such, strong relationship building and solicitation skills are important.
Provide monthly report of your team’s progress to the President and Vice President.
Attend monthly Fundraising group meeting.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with other volunteers/public.
Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
Work within a team to build long term strategies.
Lead and line manage the business development and fundraising team in line with our vision and values.
