Blood Assurance would like volunteers to serve as greeters in the Hixson, Tennessee donor center. A greeter would welcome donors, hand out promotional items and snacks, interact with Donor Care Specialists and serve as an advocate for Blood Assurance. The Hixson donor center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If you are interested in serving as a greeter, please let us know when you would like to help out.

Blood Assurance is a non-profit regional blood center. Our mission is to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood components, in a cost effective manner, to every area patient in need. 74 healthcare facilities in 51 counties are helped by Blood Assurance donors. Over 540 blood donors are needed every day in order to adequately supply all the hospitals served by Blood Assurance.
