Opportunity for 1 or 2 volunteers who loves working with young children, 1st - 6th grade, during summer break doing arts and crafts. We provide whatever materials you need. This will be once a week for 8 weeks, 1hr. session. Great kids, fun to work with! About 12 children from diverse backgrounds (refugee families from different countries)

Mission Statement
The Paradise Shadows Neighborhood Network Center is an onite, multiservice technology center at the Paradise Shadows Apartments, a HUD community in north Phoenix. The center offers job-training, GED preparation, and ESL classes for the adults. The center also provides tutoring, mentoring, and educational afterschool activities for the youth. The purpose of the Network Center is to promote self-sufficiency and provide technology access to the residents of Paradise Shadows.
Description
The Paradise Shadows Network Center has 5 computers available to the residents. Several key volunteers from the business, education, and religious communities teach classes and mentor residents in various subjects designed to promote self-sufficiency among the residents.
