Did you know that there are currently over 400,000 youth in foster care in the United States? Did you know that 70% of youth in foster care are separated from at least one sibling? That is why Camp to Belong is dedicated to reuniting separated brothers and sisters in the foster care system, by providing a camp experience that creates emotional empowerment, sibling connection, and lifelong memories. What are you doing this summer? Want to become a Camp to Belong NY Volunteer?
We are looking for overnight counselors for the weekend (June 27th-26th), day volunteers, and event volunteers! Volunteers will assist in child safety and camp events such as tye-dying, scrapbooking, a carnival, and a service learning project.
