Help our expert Trail Crew with trail maintenance and construction. You’ll work along some of the most beautiful and pristine trails in Santa Clara Valley and gain an introduction to the art and science of trail work.
You will work on the Nature and Spring Valley Trail at Ed Levin County Park. Volunteers meet at the parking lot on the Spring Valley side of the park.
No special skills are required but the work may be moderately strenuous. Tools, work gloves and snacks are provided; please bring your own water bottle (we can refill your bottle but we no longer provide bottled water). Sturdy hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirt and sun or rain protection are recommended.
Volunteers age 14-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event. Volunteers age 16-17 may participate without parent/guardian supervision but only if they present a completed volunteer application including a parent or guardian's signature. Application forms as available at the event but the parent or guardian must be present to sign.

Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
