Mitzvah Circle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides material support to individuals and families dealing with crisis, poverty, homelessness and serious illness.
We're growing fast--and exhausting our weekday staff! We need clerical support to keep our doors open to volunteers on Sundays, and occasional weekday evenings. We are seeking individuals who share our passion for serving the most vulnerable, to assist with light clerical tasks for a few hours on Sundays. We need morning (10am to noon) and afternoon (1pm-3pm) support, a few times each month. No special skills are required--other than a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate clearly and cheerfully. Volunteers will receive training, and would be expected to answer phones, take messages, greet volunteers, and assist volunteers in signing in and out.
The job description is not glamorous, but is critical to ensuring continuity of service! This is a perfect opportunity for retirees, or individuals whose physical limitations might preclude more hands-on service in our warehouse.

Mitzvah Circle Foundation supports people through tragedy and crisis. We serve those walking along life's edge by providing individualized material support. We provide concrete help by working directly with recipients, or with referring organizations, to fulfill specific needs, especially when other assistance options are exhausted.
Mitzvah Circle Foundation joins in partnership with individuals, foundations, corporations, schools and other non-profit organizations that wish to provide community service, goods or financial support. Mitzvah Circle Foundation is not faith-based; we treat all people with kindness and compassion. We believe that changing the lives of people in need creates a better world for all.
