Tuesday Teen Talk is a program for teens 13+ residing at the shelter. The idea is for the youth to get together and share ideas on activities, programs, events, etc. that could take place at the Family Shelter. This space allows teens to become involved and active during their stay at the Family Shelter. Tuesday Teen Talk also provides teens with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, empowerment and self confidence.
This program runs every Tuesday from 6:00-6:30pm
The volunteering opportunity is flexible:
-leading sessions (helping teens to get the idea ball rolling, gathering ideas, bringing order and clarity to ideas, facilitating conversations, etc)
