The 12 News Shred-a-Thon is not a glamorous volunteer job by any means, however it is a rewarding at the end of the day. When you volunteer for this job you could be doing a number of things while onsite. This is an outdoor event and will take place on an asphalt parking lot.
- Breaking down cardboard boxes using a box cutter
- Lifting 25-50 pound boxes full of paper from cars
- Emptying 25-50 pound boxes of paper into trash cans
- Moving 100-150 pound trash cans full of paper to a Shred-it truck (trash cans have wheels)
- Greeting drivers and directing traffic

9:00am-12:00pm
12:00pm-3:00pm
3:00pm-6:00pm

Keep Phoenix Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. We work in Phoenix to promote the preservation and protection of our environment. With the help of volunteers, we dedicate our efforts to education, litter reduction, beautification and community improvement activities.
