The Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse runs a free kayaking program during the summer from June to August. Nearly every Thursday 4:30-6:30p, Saturdays 9-5pm, and Sundays 11-5pm we are in need of volunteers to help! Volunteers sign up for shifts on a week to week basis via our volunteer email list. To participate, sign up at www.bbpboathouse.org
Volunteers help run the program in a variety of ways: set up equipment, clean up a at end of day, help sign up members of the public, help get them in and out of boats and on the water, etc. Volunteers do not need any experience. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
It's a great chance to get outdoors, have some fun and volunteer at the same time!
