We are looking for a dedicated, hard working, responsible individual that is interested in pursuing an internship with a well established non-profit that serves families and adults impacted by type 1 diabetes. An interest in type 1 diabetes research for the cure is ideal and a background in non-profit management, marketing, grant research, or health education is most helpful.
You would be working out of our downtown Seattle office, assisting our staff with various administrative projects, events, and community outreach programs, as well as working on grant research.

About JDRF Northwest Chapter
Location:
1215 Fourth Avenue, Suite 1100, Seattle, WA 98161, US
Mission Statement
To find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
Description
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, policy influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring more than $568 million in scientific research in 17 countries.
Within the Northwest Chapter, we serve adults and families impacted by T1D in Washington, Montana, and Alaska through our Outreach Programs, advocacy efforts, online support and resources, educational events, research updates, and activities/events intended to provide connection within our community.
