On Monday afternoons we are seeking a front desk receptionist at our nonprofit daytime activities senior center. This person will have people skills and answer phones, take money for classes, and sign participants up for classes and trips. It is a key role in our center, and an opportunity to extend the welcome that is so important to our center's daily culture. You will be trained, including how to answer questions about our program. The position involves interaction with seniors who come to try new activities, renew old friendships and form new ones. It is an important and fun way to connect with seniors in the community. Be the friendly face to welcome visitors at this warm and vibrant center. Wheelchair applicants OK. Must speak English and be able to lift small office items, up to 5 lbs.

We host all kinds of activities trips and classes. We need help with serving lunch, staffing the thrift store, and special events.
