HandsOn Suburban Chicago’s Volunteer Corps serves as a way to unite people in the northwest suburban area through service opportunities within our community. The Volunteer Corps was created in response to the rising need for volunteers throughout the suburbs. HOSC organizes monthly community service projects that incorporate support from local businesses, community partners and volunteers to make a positive and lasting impact on our community. This month we will be building a brand new sustainable garden at Central Road Elementary School. This family friendly project will include constructing garden beds, preparing the ground for the new garden, laying mulch, painting garden tiles and murals.
