Make a lasting difference in someone's life...as well as your own. People helping people. That's what giving to hospice care is all about. If you have a passion for caring for others, and if you're looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer.
Hospice volunteers can make a difference in a variety of ways including:
Offering companionship, providing pet therapy, singing or playing an instrument, sitting vigil, running errands, providing bereavement support to family members, knitting a blanket or creating a memory poster for a patient with Alzheimer's.
To learn more about coming a hospice volunteer, please contact Kristy Corbett at 438-0008.
