A friendly visitor provides companionship to patients and their families. Our patients are located, in their home or at a nursing home facilities, some duties may include hand holding, watching television, reading a book, letter writing, listening to music, cooking, looking at old pictures and reminising, talking about sports, walking the dog or just sitting at the bed side listening to our patients.
If you are unable to travel you can provide a friendly visit by calling the patient and their family.
