Event Goals: $277,000, 1,700 Walkers, 200 Teams
Executive Committee Member Summary:
An Executive Committee member is responsible for recruiting new corporate sponsors and corporate teams to meet the goals of Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes (Step Out). Executive Committee members use their professional and personal networks to promote Step Out and secure new prospects. The Executive Committee consists of at least five members, so the responsibilities don’t fall to one person.

Executive Committee Member’s Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a prospect list of ten target companies to attend executive networking breakfast.
- Secure 5 new corporate teams and/or sponsors through individually scheduled meetings with ADA Staff.
- Attend the Corporate RecruitmentEvent (April) and follow-up with prospects who didn’t commit on the spot to confirm their corporate commitment.
- Present a customized ADA sponsorship proposal to your company with Step Out staff support.
Revenue Generation Commitment:
- Give or get minimum commitment of $10,000from prospect(s) that includes a corporate sponsorship and/or a Corporate Team (ie: $2,500 sponsorship, $7,500 team).
- Have a Corporate Team at your company that raises a minimum of $3,000
- Strive to be a championthat individually raises a minimum of $1,000
Time Commitment:
- Participate in two Conference Calls to share prospect lists and progress to date
- Attend the Executive Breakfast Event in April
