Urban Quebec non-profit media organization is looking for a Graphic Designer to assist with developing its monthly magazine and handle all of its graphic design needs.
-- This is a virtual volunteer position.(unpaid) all work is done via online communications (Eastern Time Zone)
-- Requires approximately 10+ hours per week
-- Length of Volunteer Agreement is 12 months
-- Language requirement: English, or Bilingual with French
*Requirements*
-- At least 2 combined years of experience using Adobe CS5 or CS6 with InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop as a main source of work.
-- At least 1 year of which was specifically dedicated to inDesign CS6. Have access to CS6 inDesign
-- Have at least 1 year experience working with publication design and layout such as Newsletters, Magazines, or other related materials within the past 5 years.
-- Experience creating graphics and design work and using Adobe or other products to create them.
*Must provide at least 2 samples of work*
*Description*
The Graphic Designer will create and design graphics, create monthly magazine design and layout product, marketing materials, logos and graphics, and manage multimedia library. Assist with graphical products, provide input for ordering materials related to graphic products, conduct necessary user training, create policies and procedures related to graphic design.
