The South West Texas Council of Hostelling International is seeking Directors for our active board. Board members strive to develop policies, procedures and regulations to monitor the finances, programs and performance of the organization.

The SWT council is responsible for furthering the mission by delivering HI-USA Programs to the Southwest Texas region. With headquarters in Austin, Texas, our region includes the cities of San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and El Paso, as well as all territory in between and to the Southwest. In addition, and as a compliment to delivering Programs, the SWT council operates a 42 bed HI Hostel in Austin. Located centrally on the southeast shore of Ladybird Lake on the hike and bike trail, HI-Austin has been serving hostellers visiting Austin since 1989.
