Job Description:
This internship assists with the RMH Summer Program. The program takes kids on about 30 fieldtrips throughout the summer. Evening hours consist of planning, organizing, and leading activities, craft, parties, and other various House events.
Tasks:
Supervise offsite fieldtrips (We go on three per week)
Weekly activity planning
Plan, prep, and lead evening activities
Organize special House events
Assist/work one on one with Family Services Coordinator
Periodic Tasks:
Birthday party prep and co-host
Various Programming Office tasks
Requirements:
Comfortable with children
Strong creativity
Strong communication skills
Good attention to detail and organization
Ability to multitask
Interest in non-profits or family programming preferred
Available to August 2015

Description
We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:

- Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
- Laundry facilities
- An accredited K-12 school
- Workout facilities
- Supportive, family-focused programming
We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
