Fancy yourself as a Cat Whisperer? Then we NEED you!
Feral Change helps socialize and rehome severly under socialized cats that have been living on the street. Many of these cats are pulled from our city's shelter where their fate is almost certainly death due to the fact that they are deemed unadoptable. Some are just terrified; others have had little to no human contact prior to coming to our foster center.
This volunteer assignment requires at least a 45 minute weekly commitment and can be any day or time that is convenient to you (during the hours of 9 am and 8 pm). Playing with the cats and handing out treats is all that's really required...
We have a nice, enclosed space with comfy chairs and wifi ... come by with a friend; sit and chat while dangling a toy around the floor. We want to give the cats as normal a 'home' life as possible while they are with us so that they can transition more easily to a home environment.
