Approximately 99,681 of Polk's seniors (age 65+) are reported to live in poverty (Source - U.S. Census 2014 estimates and 2007 Report of Florida Area Agency on Aging).
Additional Volunteers are needed to come out to Joker Marchant Stadium! Lend a hand to the folks of ElderPoint Ministries who will be needing 12 volunteers (ages 18 and older) to staff concession stand and earn funds to assist Polk's senior adults. Choose to help in one of two areas: Customer Service/Cashier or Preparing Food (hot dogs).
Volunteers will receive a FREE Hot Dog meal (chips/Beverage) and a FREE T-Shirt!
Attire: Wear Khaki shorts/slacks + ElderPoint T-Shirt + closed-toe shoes.
Help make a difference by helping ElderPoint Ministries to raise funds to assist seniors who are in need of services such as: a mobile food pantry, assistance with housing and providing transportation! Let's make a homerun for Polk's seniors!
