We are looking for volunteers at our adoption/intake location (Youngtown), our thrift store (Youngtown) and our shelter location in Peoria
*At the Adoption/Intake location OR the Peoria shelter we need cleaners/feeders for various shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday mornings and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons)
Morning cleaner/feeders consists of stripping cages down, wiping out cages and reassembling cages, along with food & water. Cleaning of scoops & litterboxes, washing, drying, folding and putting away laundry, sweeping and mopping floors. And of course the added bonus of giving some love to the kitties.
Afternoon shifts consist of feeding, secoond scoops on litterboxes, redoing any messy cages, freshen food & water and finish up laundry, and socializing with the kitties.
*The Thrift Store is looking for a Saturday person to help sort donations and keep the store shelves stocked & organized.
* The Peoria Shelter is looking for cleaners/feeders on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings.

Sun Cities 4 Paws Rescue is no kill, non-profit, volunteer, tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to rescue cats and dogs in the Sun Cities area; to provide temporary care either in foster homes or in a permanent shelter for such animals, while facilitating their adoption in appropriate homes; to cooperate with other organizations dedicated to the rescue and care of homeless animals, and to work for humane solutions to the problem of pet overpopulation
Description
4 Paws has a cat shelter in Peoria, Az with over 100 cats, an Intake Center and Thrift Store in Youngtown, and does adoptions at the Surprise Petsmart on weekends. We have an active dog fostering program and also foster ill or young cats until they are ready for adoption. Adoptions take place at all our facilities and the best day is the day an animal finds a new, loving home!
