So how will you make a difference?

Help Habitat spread the word about the need for affordable homeownership in King County by responding to requests for information, speakers, representatives, and table presentations from our community of supporters. These can include volunteer fairs, workplace giving presentations, community events, faith community fundraisers, and other opportunities.

We will provide the training, you will provide the voice!

Mission Statement

In Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties, and around the world, Habitat for Humanity brings people together as volunteers, homeowners, donors, and community members to create strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Working with volunteers, families, individuals, corporations, congregations, and donors, we are able to address the critical need for affordable housing throughout Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties. We are dedicated to making homeownership possible for low-income, hardworking families and individuals. In our community, Habitat for Humanity constructs affordable homes, repairs homes for income-qualified homeowners and seniors, operates discount home improvement stores in Auburn, Southcenter, Bellevue, and Ellensburg, and mobilizes nearly 4,500 volunteers a year.

Description

Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
