We all need friends and hope

Pet Paws of Love Program

Hospice volunteers needed to assist our patients with their pets. Hospice Compassus believes that people love their pets and treat them just like family members and pets provide much comfort to their owners. We feel that these

Furry family friends play a critical role emotionally and physically in helping our terminally ill patients.

Volunteers that have a compassion and kindness for animals are needed with skills to help out in any of these areas:

  • Help provide transportation to and from grooming appointments,
  • Assist with feeding and purchase of pet food,
  • Walking and playtime with pets,
  • Help in veterinary referrals,
  • Possibly provide temporary foster care or assistance in finding a forever home for the beloved pet once the owner dies.
