ASSIGNMENT: TOUCH-PAD ASSISTANTS

TIME REQUIRED: Entire duration of the silent and live auction

SKILLS: Extrovert, talkative, social, computer skills

· Carry a touch-pad through auction areas allowing and encouraging Patrons to check their items and place bids.

· Monitor touch pads throughout the venue and Instruct Patrons on touch-pad features. Assign bid cards to Patrons and

· Socialize with bidders.

ASSIGNMENT: ITEM RUNNERS

TIME REQUIRED: 1-2 hours after auction close

SKILLS: Quick, able bodied

· Retrieve Auction Items for winning bidders in an efficient, orderly manner. Patrons will approach with paid invoices in hand.

· Review receipts and ensure that the patrons leave with the correct items.

· Assist some patrons with transporting items out to their vehicles.

Volunteers should be mature and should understand that they will need to be available, sober and dedicated for the entire duration of the Event night activity that they will be assigned to. Volunteers should understand that their participation and commitment are critical to the success of the Event. Volunteers that neglect or abandon their responsibilities will have a direct negative effect on the entire Event and the revenue generated.
