ORGANIZATION: Historic Stagville

Volunteers provide guided tours to visitors of Historic Stagville. Tours visit the first plantation home, original slave cabin, and barn. Volunteers also process gift shop transactions and greet visitors when they arrive at the site. Prior teaching experience is appreciated for visiting groups, though it is certainly not necessary. Sewing knowledge is appreciated to make period costumes for living history programs.

Volunteers attend an orientation meeting and go through training to give guided tours.
