For over 30 years, The Adoption Exchange and CBS4 have joined together to find families for children who are in foster care. Every Wednesday, CBS4 features a child who is waiting for a safe, loving family to call their own. And each year, CBS 4 dedicates an entire day to The Adoption Exchange to spread awareness for waiting children. This day is called A Day for Wednesday's Child .

This year, A Day for Wednesday’s Childwill be held on April 8, 2015 ! Throughout the day, CBS4 and The Adoption Exchange will be airing stories of Colorado children who are waiting in foster care for a family. Also, children who have found their family will be sharing their stories of what life is like for them now.

Volunteers are needed to answer phones live on the air at CBS4 (located on the East side of Lincoln Street between 10th & 11th Avenues). We are looking for volunteers to fill any of the following shifts:

• 4:30 AM 5:00AM
• 5:00AM-6:00AM
• 7:00AM-9:00AM
• 12:00PM-12:30PM
• 10:00PM-10:30PM

Whether you are available to attend one shift or multiple shifts, your support is deeply appreciated! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled shift for orientation. T-shirts and refreshments are provided.
