The Sheltom McMurphey Johnson House is looking for volunteers to help fill our new Marketing Commitee. This commitee will be focused on marketing, fundraising and communitee outreach to help the SMJ House grow. As Eugene's only Vicotrian House Museum, we want people to know we are here. We also want to expand how we teach about the history of both the house and the community.
If you have marketing skills, fundraising knowledge and a passsion for history, historic homes and archeticture, this could be the right fit for you.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to preserve the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House for the benefit of current and future generations. In doing so, we will be our community’s storyteller through the lens of inclusive historic preservation.
Description
The Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House is a National Historic Place, owned and maintained by the City of Eugene. It is administered by a non-profit citizens’s group called the Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson Associates.
