Show your community spirit on Saturday,June 18th ! Join Pierce County Parks & Recreation's Pitch in for Parks program at Bresemann Forest, adjacent to Sprinker Recreation Center in the Parkland/Spanway area. We’ll pick up trash, pull English ivy, and possibly cut back Himalayan blackberry. We supply the tools, water and a snack - you supply the energy and enthusiasm to make a big difference in our parks, open spaces and trails. We invite you to come rain or shine with appropriate clothing for the weather conditions and working outside and with thorns. Bring work gloves if you have them available. This is a great opportunity for all abilities and ages (14 and under with a guardian). Volunteers are welcome to Pitch In for an hour or two or for the entire time.
