This is a 1-year assignment funded through the Federal Government’s Coporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). VISTA member receives a MODEST living allowance ( Approximately $946/month) and end of service educational award ($5,550) or cash stipend ($1,500). Expectations:

• Help develop the Central Florida Jobs Initiative business plan for a social enterprise and take it to the next level and enable the CFJI to become self sustaining
• Facilitate meetings with local and regional organizations as potential clients
• Recruit sponsors and partners for the Central Florida Jobs Initiative program
• Develop plan of action and business materials for Grants and additional funding for a social enterprise
• Survey employer partners and businesses in the community for ideas and suggestions on improving the Central Florida Jobs Initiative Programs
• Community outreach
