Volunteer at the Elementary After School programs Renaissance Fair! The fair will provide kids with a fun afternoon of activities, exercise, games and dancing. Volunteers are needed to assist at the activity stations (shield, hat and jewelry making, face painting, petting zoo, games and flying machines), and to assist with set up/break down of the event. Volunteers must attend a brief orientation session (to be scheduled) where the Program Director will go over roles and responsibilities for the day.
The Renaissance Fair is Wednesday, May 13th at Fairlington Community Center from 12:00 pm 7:00 pm. Volunteers can select the 12:00 to 4:30 pm shift or the 4:30 to 7:00 pm shift.

Description
DPR offers youth and adult sports leagues and instruction; wellness programs, afterschool recreation programs for youth, preschool programs, extensive network of recreational and wellness services for senior citizens, stewardship of public land (adopt-a-park, remove invasive plants, nature centers), and visual arts volunteer opportunties.
