Hi everyone,

This is a nationwide event hosted by the House Rabbit Society to stop Whole Foods from carryng family pet rabbits in there meat section. The Easter Bunny - the one with the white fur and pink eyes is there. My Kringle (brown nose) could be too. Come pass out flyers and comment cards to their customers. We're out to make sure people are aware of what is happening and have a say in it. Rabbits are pets not food.

There will be cute pictures of rabbits, balloons and Easter Candy to pass out. This is going to be fun!

If you can't assist in this way please fill out a comment card at Whole Foods and place your vote. Sign a petition at Change.Org/WholeFoodsRabbit or inform a manger no rabbit. RabbitAdvocacyNetwork.org has a lot more information.

Just come by and support us!

Thank you so much!

Patti Cora

Mission Statement

Rabbits are wonderful family pets!

Description

Many grocery stores across the US are now selling pet rabbits as fresh/frozen meat. Whole Foods is on our list "1st" to stop this and then others. They are Pets - Californians (my buddy Kringle is one) and New Zealands (Handsome at the Red Door Animal Shelter). These rabbits have never been "wild." WF's claims wild rabbit is too "gamey" so they sell domestic pets. Their "program/qualifications" are not being adhered to by their supplier. This group is out to stop this absurd practice and stop all grocery stores to carry them.
