The 1 st Annual Girl’s Leadership Conference is a leadership program designed to develop the leadership potential with each participating student. Students participate in a series of interactive workshops led by girls, for girls! Talented students from across the region will share their leadership skills with other conference attendees - providing girls an opportunity to grow as leaders and display their skills and knowledge! Students participating in the Girl’s Leadership Conference are sure to interact and make friends with a diverse group of students who share their interests.

Conference Objectives

  1. To inspire young women to set clear goals for future leadership development
  2. To increase self-awareness of their current leadership strengths and begin to building their own personal leadership philosophy
  3. To develop a powerful network of like-minded emerging leaders
  4. To discover their unique leadership style and grow as a public speaker
  5. To expose girls to innovative approaches to leadership
  6. To teach skills to help girls gain confidence, advocate for themselves, and grow their leadership abilities.
Volunteers are needed to help set-up, register attendees, greet parents, assist workshop presenters, and help during our lunch! We would love to have you join YWCP to make our 1st Annual Conference a success for girls across the region!
