Alacare is looking for volunteers who can assist with celebrating hospice patient birthdays, anniversaries and holidays through out the month.
This allows you to visit a patient on their birthday or anniversary by delivering company supplied cupcakes, balloons and cards to their home.
Alacare is also looking for individuals to deliver thinking of you treat bags and mail cards each month.
Celebration volunteers are an important part of hospice. Often times our patients are celebrating their last birthday, last anniversary, or quite possibly their last holiday.
Alacare asks that you commit to 1-3 days a month to deliver birthday goodies.
This is a great opportunity for a small group of friends to become hospice volunteers and celebrate the patients birthday in a very big way.
