Easter Seals North Texas is excited to host Respite Night on Saturday, April 11 from 5:30 pm -10:00 pm. As a volunteer, you'll play and have fun with a special needs child in a fun and safe environment, allowing parents time to rejuvenate.

What is respite night?

Respite night is a new service we are providing to families of children with special needs and their siblings. Parents will drop their children off at our North Dallas Center from 6:30-9:30 so they can have a much needed time of rest and rejuvenation. While the parents are away, children with special needs and their siblings will participate in crafts, games, movies, playtime and other fun activities. This service is free to our families and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Our respite night is designed to give parents a break as well as a fun, safe environment for the kids.

What do I need to do to sign up to volunteer?

Please email Ashley Winfield, awinfield@ntx.easterseals.com, by April 3rd to volunteer. All volunteers will need a criminal background check in order to participate.

We hope you’ll join us for a fun night with our clients and their siblings! If you have any questions or concerns, Ashley can be reached by email at awinfield@ntx.easterseals.com or by phone at 817-759-7930.
