The Growing Food Together CSA is one branch of the Park Heights Community Health Alliance's Urban Oasis Food Justice Program.
Using the community supported agriculture (CSA) model we are able to provide equitable access to nutrient rich foods while raising enough money to support farm operations. To complete this mission we offer two pick up days (Mondays 5:30-7pm, Thursdays 2:30-4pm), three different share sizes (standard, half, quarter), 2 payment schedules (seasonal, monthly) and four payment options (cas, credit/debit, SNAP and sweat-equity).
We do all that we can to make our produce accessible to those that need it; still, there are members of our community who are under extreme financial hardship and physical duress who can neither work or pay for it. Please consider donating your time to help grow nutrient rich vegetables and fruits for the residents and supporters of the Park Heights Community. There are a variety of on and off farm tasks that you can assist with to help keep this program alive!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to collaborate in the improvement of the health of Baltimore's Park Heights community through wellness initiatives, health education, environmentalism, and service.
Description
The Park Heights Community Health Alliance (PHCHA) was organized in 1996, in a partnership between Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and a handful of concerned Park Heights community residents. The Park Heights community is disproportionately affected by a variety of negative health status indicators. In collaboration with community partners such as Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Park West Medical Systems, and a host of others, we seek to have a positive impact on the community at large.
PHCHA is committed to improving access to primary care for residents of Baltimore City. PHCHA's goal is to help maximize the Park Heights community's potential as a healthy, safe, and vital neighborhood.
