Middle School Workshops

This summer the North Carolina Museum of Art will offer four weeks of workshops for middle school students (ages 11-13). Middle school workshops take place June 8-12, June 29-July 3, July 6-10, and August 3-7.

Volunteers are needed 8:30 am-12:30 pm and 1-5 pm for each workshop to assist the educators running the workshop. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and either in college or a graduate.

The North Carolina Museum of Art will be an active partner with arts and educational organizations which seek to advance knowledge about the visual arts and the creative process and with economic development sectors of the state and its communities. The Museum is committed to serving people of diverse cultural backgrounds and of all ages with innovative programs of high quality and to extending awareness of the collections of the Museum to the people of the state. The North Carolina Museum of Art acknowledges the ownership of its collections and facilities by all the people of North Carolina.
