Summer Camp Assistants Needed

Each summer the Museum offers summer camps for kids 6-8 and 9-12 years old. Each camp is five days, Monday through Friday. Angela Faulk, program coordinator, is looking for fun, energetic, and kid-friendly volunteers to help out.

Volunteers assist camp leaders with students as they explore the permanent collection and special exhibitions, hike through the Museum Park, and draw, paint, sculpt, and create. It’s something new each week.

Camps start June 1 and end August 21. Shifts are 8:30 am-12:30 pm and 1-5 pm each day. To have as little disruption as possible, volunteers are asked to work three or more half-days per camp so that the children are more comfortable with a familiar face. Camp assistants must be at least 18 years old and in college.
