Project Homecoming is now recruiting for 3 Part-Time AmeriCorps members to serve in the 2015-2016 service year! We are looking for individuals who are motivated and passionate about safe, affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, and helping displaced families return home to New Orleans.
Members will serve as Work Site Managers within our Construction Department to leverage volunteers on site to rebuild homes throughout Orleans Parish. These positions require flexibility, problem-solving skills, teamwork and collaboration to get things done! No previous construction experience is required!

* Housing provided at Project Homecoming's offices
* Segal Education Award upon the successful completion of service
* Forbearance and partial interest payments on eligible student loans
* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Preferred qualifications:
* Members must be at least 18 years of age
* Members must have a high school diploma or its equivalent
* Comfort working with a variety of people in a faith-based initiative
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task
* Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, written and verbal communication, and problem solving
* Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
* Experience working as a part of a team
* All members must submit to a background check
