URGENT NEED: Volunteers and/or Volunteer Teams Needed To Drive Seniors To Dr. Appts.

We have an urgent need for volunteers and/or volunteer teams (churches, businesses, civic groups, etc) to drive ambularoty seniors to doctor appointments primarily in Greensboro with a few needs in High Point.

The time commitment is a one to three a week. Many of our volunteer teams are provided by churches in Greensboro. The teams have team captains who coordinate volunteers to fill the ride requests. Many individuals volunteer as well and reap the satisfication of helping seniors take care of their health.

The seniors we drive to their doctor appointments are ambulatory and can get in and out of cars without assistance.

You get to provide an important service to seniors who are unable to drive to their doctor appointments. You get the satisfaction of helping others. As you probably know, when you help others, *you help yourself.
