Every Monday and Wednesday morning, seniors from Belmont and the surrounding areas come in to the Twin Pines Senior & Community Center to see what goodies they might find to supplement their meals.
Thanks to a partnership with Lunardi's in Carlmont Plaza, volunteers pick up their leftover bread and deliver it to the Center on these two days.
Due to illness, we are in need of a replacement to help us continue to deliver donated bread to the Center.
The volunteer(s) can choose to pick up the bread either Sunday night or Monday morning for the Monday Bread Program, and/or Tuesday night or Wednesday morning for the Wednesday Bread Program.
The volunteers must have their own transportation, and be able to lift boxes up to 20lbs in weight, and push a cart with the boxes into the Center to offload.

In keeping with utmost state and county precautions against COVID-19, the Center is currently closed.

Usually open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4pm and provide a variety of programs and services to the community. Some of the programs we sponsor include classes, lunches, lectures, social services, special events and recreational activities. There is no membership fee or residency requirement.
