Join our team of Volunteers at Good Shepherd Hospice in the Vet-to-Vet Program. Become trained to meet the specific end-of-life needs for our patients who have served in the military. Help honor each Veteran with a coining ceremony and framed certificate of appreciation. Good Shepherd Hospice proudly works with the "We Honor Veterans" program.

Description
Hospice is a comprehensive care program for patient's and famlies which emphasizes quality of life and is most effective during the final 6 months of life expectancy.
Hospice is a care system based upon the right of people to know accurately and honestly what is happening to them so they can spend the precious remaining time in the most purposeful and meaningful way consistent with they values and concerns.
