New Ground Everett (NGE) in the Silver Lake area of south Everett, Washington houses up to12 single young adults. Residents are between the ages of 18 and 21 when they enter the program. Residents live in an apartment with a roommate. All residents have their own bedroom and share a bathroom, living room and full kitchen with their roommate. There is a community room on-site for group activities. The building is monitored by a video security system to ensure the safety of residents and. There is also an on-site resource center with internet access to accommodate job and housing searches.

We are in need of a volunteer willing to lend some help with translating. We have a new resident whose primary language is Spanish and our staff could defnitely benefit from a volunteer who is bilingual. Schedule is very flexible and is based on availability of the resident and your schedule.
