EHFF is looking to fill in an intern/volunteer position for Property Manager Assistant/administrative assistant. This is an opportunity to work with a growing Development Company and learn the ins and outs about this business and what goes on behind the scenes on a daily basis. Our company provides housing for low income families, people with disabilities and the elderly. With your help we will be able to continue to do this and provide this service to the families that are in need of affordable housing. We currently manage over 100+ properties that are occupied by families that meet this criterion. We are currently expanding into the Saint Petersburg area and Melbourne. We have a large office with great amenities such as a gym for the employees to use, shower facility, full kitchen, lounge area, etc.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Research on how to receive government funding and or grants and applying for these specific funds
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Editing and putting advertisements on MLS and Craigslist
- Scanning, filing and saving of documents
- Preparing letters and emails
- Preparing Real Estate Contracts and submitting to Sellers to purchase Real Estate
- Preparing for Closing on those accepted Real Estate Contracts.
- Requesting and receiving bids to remodel the newly acquired Property.
- Preparing the property to lease
- Advertising the property for lease to market areas
- Preparing Leases to qualified tenants
- Ongoing management and maintenance of Real Estate

We are looking for a serious intern/volunteer. The position is performance based and can turn into a paid, salaried position following 3 month internship. Immediate start is preferred. We are located 2 blocks away from Jackson Memorial and a block away from Santa Clara train station.
