CAA is planning the next Twin Cities Veg Fest for 2015. Committee members are responsible for specific tasks related to the festival.

Twin Cities Veg Fest is a one -day event focused on vegan food and outreach. The goal is to attract at least 2,500 people during the course of the day. The event consists of several different components , including an exhibitor's room, speakers, and entertainment.

We have the following position available: Media Outreach Coordinator. This position is responsible for making sure the work in their department gets done, and they may delegate tasks to other volunteers as needed. In many cases, CAA staff will recruit these additional volunteers.

To be a committee members, you must have strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of many tasks over a long period of time. You will also needbasic computer skills , including the use of email and other online tools. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well.

Committee members should be able to attend most of the monthly committee meetings, report on their progress, and respond to group communication on a regular basis.

Committee members must care about animals and believe in the mission of helping people move towards a plant-based diet. Committee members do not need to be vegan.
