AccentCare Hospice is seeking volunteers for companion visits, pet therapy, administrative, and "Angel Care" 11th Hour opportunities. Our service area includes Weld, Larimer, Adams and Boulder Counties. Our business office is located in Windsor, Colorado and volunteer orientation is held once every 2 to 3 months. A backround check, drug screen and TB test is required at no cost to the volunteer. Volunteer Orientation is required. Description
Hospice affirms life. Hospice exists to provide aupport and care for persons living with a serious illness so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice is specialized care that provides supportive care directed towards enhancing quality of life. Together with the patient and family, the interdisciplinary caregiving team focuses on the individual's physical symptoms as well as the emotional and spiritual concerns of the patient and family.
Understanding that it is a privilege to accompany patients and families on this unique journey, hospice strives to uphold the patient's personal dignity and to ever sustain hope.
