Ensure language accessibility and protect the rights of voters at polling places around the city this election day, April 7th.
- Locations in neighborhoods across the city
- Morning shift (6-8:30am) & Evening shift (5 - 7:30pm)
- Must be a registered Illinois voter to become a poll watcher.
- 1 hour of training is required for first time poll watchers

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Chicago, was established in 1992 as a pan-Asian, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to empower the Asian American community through advocacy, research, education and coalition building.
Description
We believe that volunteers are an integral part of our organization. With a broad network of community leaders, emerging activists, and ethnic groups, volunteering with Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Chicago is a great way to deepen your understanding about Asian American communities, advocate for their rights, and lead meaningful change. For 20 years, our mission has been to empower the Asian American community through advocacy, by utilizing education, research, and coalition building. We invite you to join us.
Current programs include Voting Rights, Leadership Development, and Civic Engagement. The organization works with its affiliate partners the Asian American Center for Justice (Washington, DC), Asian Law Caucus (San Francisco), and Asian Pacific American Legal Center (Los Angeles).
