- Assist with writing, editing and publishing press releases, media advisories, PSA’s, community calendar notices, publications, Facebook postings, and other materials promoting Bivona
- Create, assemble and mail publicity for special events and programs
- Update social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) as instructed
- Create content for social media channels
- Assist in making minor web updates
- Assemble and record press clippings
- Research new activities, key global events and issues relating to child sexual abuse and identify opportunities
- Assess and track the performance of social media channels
- Attend and support events as needed
- Maintain community calendars and press contacts ensuring they are up to date
- Monitor, coordinate and assist with the distribution of our promotional marketing materials (posters, flyers and brochures) identifying new opportunities for distribution.

The mission of Bivona Child Advocacy Center is to coordinate and provide services and support to meet the needs of child victims of sexual or physical abuse and their families at a single and safe, child-friendly facility. The Center is committed to reducing trauma, promoting accountability, fostering healing, and advocating on behalf of child victims of sexual and physical abuse.
Description
Bivona Child Advocacy Center is a safe, welcoming place where children who have been sexually or physicallly abused can begn their journey of healing.
Bivona Child Advocacy Center staff facilitates an under-one-roof collaboration of social and legal agencies to protect, treat, and counsel child abuse victims and their families, and to investigate and prosecute the abusers. Bivona Child Advocacy Center is the only agency in Greater Rochester to provide such comprehensive services. Since opening our doors in 2004, we have evaluated nearly 20,000 children.
