One of NAMI Rome's goals is to raise and promote mental illness awareness in Northwest Georgia. We will host a walk in Rome on Oct. 10, 2015. This walk will be one of 80 held in 2015 across the US. NAMIWalks are orchestrated to some extent by our national office. We have plenty of planning tools to consider using.

The goal of the walk is $50,000. To obtain this goal we expect to contact regional businesses to convince them to sponsor the walk at various levels of donations. In sum, we seek to raise $20,000 from them. Individual walkers aligned to walk teams will raise the bulk of donations ($30,000). There are upcoming planning events where we need marketing tips.

In addition to the Walk, NAMI Rome is seeking additional ways to fundraise.
