Would you like to volunteer for 1 1/2 hours each week helping an adult from another country learn English?
The training is free and no language but English is needed. We supply the materials you need, and will match you with an adult during the time you tell us you're available.

Description
Our vision is fostering lifelong literacy throughout the Mid-South, and we work to do that in three ways: communication and culture classes for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); family literacy events and information; and structured reading intervention for 4th-8th grade, to help them find the confidence and knowledge to improve reading and successfully stay and complete high school.
