SOLVE’s Green Team is a K-12 program that works with several schools in the Portland Metro area each year. We currently have a few openings for Volunteer Youth Leaders to assist SOLVE Staff in the field as we guide students through outdoor activities that combine service with science education. Activities surround a variety of watershed restoration projects this Fall, Winter and Spring. Dates and locations vary and you can come as often as you like; there are both half day and full day opportunities currently available. Most project locations are accessible by public transit.

At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
